“If a man has an apartment stacked to the ceiling with newspapers we call him crazy. If a woman has a trailer house full of cats we call her nuts. But when people pathologically hoard so much cash that they impoverish the entire nation, we put them on the cover of Fortune magazine and pretend that they are role models.”

Hey, we are currently looking for models to photograph. If you're in the Springfield Vermont area, and are interested in modeling for articles like this, send an email to [email protected].
Will barter or pay for service.
We're looking for models with that "everyday people" look. Like the girl or guy next door.
I'd like to do my next article on applying make-up with the PC. So a face without make-up would be in order.

We should all appreciate the model's work as they are worth every penny they charge. Yep, 20$ an hour... you need at least 6 artists if you want to afford a model!
That is, if the model has learnt to work!
For photographers, how is it different, FD?
Not really much different. Depending on the purpose of the photography, you can get a lot done in a few hours whether in a studio setting or outside. The model has different challenges (of course) depending on the shoot. But the basics are still the same.
If you are using a make-up person for instance ... that would change things quite a bit. Having to stop, apply make-up, change it, re-apply .... it can get crazy .
The models I was interested in were for articles on digital photography and the art of touching them up. How to clean-up your digital pics.
Techniqcal articles like this are valuable to new users of digital cameras and software like Adobe.
Pretty weird, it's always at this time of the year, when I'm preparing for another intensive production period I get flooded with demands for Live Model sessions. Here we go again... it never misses, until April, artists feel the need to work more intensively.
Isn't it great? Yeah... ok, I'll oblige again! I love it too! Artists walking in, getting ready... model stretching on the podium... me preparing tea for break... then, for 3 hours, about 6 of us draw and paint in silence, attentive to the model's every move... and the results are fantastic!
Isn't that the truth .... yes, what is it about deep winter and spring that pushes the artistic drive? Sometimes, I get so distracted from that drive that CAN'T do anything else .
It is wonderful .... something ancient I guess. _________________ "Artists ain't easy to love, they're hard to hold, and they'd rather give you a song then diamonds or gold."
