“If a man has an apartment stacked to the ceiling with newspapers we call him crazy. If a woman has a trailer house full of cats we call her nuts. But when people pathologically hoard so much cash that they impoverish the entire nation, we put them on the cover of Fortune magazine and pretend that they are role models.”

Sex is Like Food
Posted on: 06-08-2005 @ 09:10 am

So for a start, here are some randon thoughts on sex.
To me, sex is like food. It's a primal drive. It's a matter of survial for the our species. We can not continue without it. We all know that we can not survive with out food either and so the similarities begin.

If we do not express our sexual energy openly, it comes out in other behaviors, such as violence. My point is, you can eat alone or with someone else, but you have to continue to eat...same with sex.

That being said, let's consider matsurbation. Is it not like eating alone? Not every meal needs to be a banguet and when we do eat with others let's remember our table manners.
Sexual energy is an important part of our physical and spiritual make-up. Unfortunately, our (especially in the US) religious beliefs act as an opressive blinder that tries to control and distort natures way.

Ok, that's it for now .... I'll continue this later if some comment on continuing this discussion.
