“If a man has an apartment stacked to the ceiling with newspapers we call him crazy. If a woman has a trailer house full of cats we call her nuts. But when people pathologically hoard so much cash that they impoverish the entire nation, we put them on the cover of Fortune magazine and pretend that they are role models.”

Alien News: I Do Not Believe In ET’s! Until last night, that is...

Unusual NewsWritten/reported by trlrtrash13

I'll start this off by saying that I do not believe in extra terrestrials. While driving I have seen a lot of weird lights, but nothing that couldn't be explained by reflections off of the windows and mirrors.

Until last night.

I was headed south on Hwy 93 through Arizona on my way down to Phoenix. I was not tired, and I had no cell phone signal so I was listening to the A's and Tigers game on xm radio. I had just come through the town of Wikieup and was grabbing the gears when I saw a strange light come on and flash right back off in the sky directly ahead of me.

Now, being the debunker that I am, I started looking around me to see where it had come from. Often a streetlight behind me will catch my mirror, reflect off the window, and show up on the windshield. There was nothing. So I focused my attention on where the light came from. I saw a small flashing light, so I figured that explained it. It was an airplane that had taken off and had just turned it's takeoff/landing lights off.

For a fact I wasn't sure of this. To be honest I was probably trying to convince myself. And then I noticed something even more odd...

There was another flashing light parallel with the first keeping an even distance as they moved west to east across the sky. As my truck became positioned to where I could do so, I rolled down the window to be sure it wasn't a reflection. It was not. And then it happened again. No glass in the way, no possible reflection... the light came on again... perfectly centered between the two flashing lights.

I tried to tell myself up until that point that it was two planes flying in formation. That theory was getting less and less believable however because the lights never flashed together. And while one could easily synchronize the lights on one vehicle to flash rapidly, to get two to do it in a manner where they will never flash simultaneously is much less likely. And now the issue of the third light.

It was a bright yellowish light, as I said, right in between the two flashing lights. So was it 3 planes now? And if so, why no markers on the middle one? A total of 3 times I saw the third light come on, each time for approximately 2 seconds then back off.

This went on for about 5 minutes. The lights originally moved east to west, turned back west to east, then headed west before heading north. About half way through I turned my cb on. I said nothing, not wanting to be the weirdo that brought it up, but curious if I was the only one who was seeing this.

Then it headed north. This was a good thing. The sky was cloudy ahead of me so I had been unable to use the stars to see if this was one solid vehicle. But to the direct east of me where they were flying north, there was a break in the clouds where the stars shown through.

I picked the brightest one and watched the lights approach it. I was relieved as it got close. It was certainly no ufo. The star I was watching didn't black out and if this was a disk, part of it would certainly be covering the star now.

I was about to look away and dismiss it as 3 planes when it happened: The stars were gone for a second and came back.

I don't know what the hell this was. I don't know if I want to know. But it was one unit. The most troubling thing is that bright star it blacked out was right in the middle of where the vehicle crossed. This thing had to have an almost rectangular shape.

So what was it? I have no idea. Do you? For now I must say that it is one of the strangest things I have ever seen.

For the last 9 years I have been driving and most of my miles are at night, but I have never seen anything like that before.
